If you’ve been in our office lately, you may have noticed some new artwork. Not just any pretty paintings, these works specifically tie into the rooted heritage that makes our practice special. Why? As you may know, our practice was founded in 1946 by Dr. Reuben Groom and has been blessed to serve generations through the hands of his nephew, Dr. Robert Wagner and later by family friend, Dr. Heather Alton.
But it doesn’t stop there–did you know that both Dr. Sean Altenbach and Dr. Robert Wagner share a family tie? Dr. Wagner’s son, Derek Wagner, married Dr. Altenbach’s wife’s sister. So, that makes Dr. Altenbach’s nieces and nephews also Dr. Wagner’s grandkids. Derek Wagner, our featured artist, grew up in the beautiful landscape that is our hometown of Jacksonville. Much of his artwork as you will see is inspired by just that. So, the next time you’re in the office, be sure to take a look at the paintings on our walls, and be inspired by the deep-rooted community we reflect.
